Community research study projects are an important part of the program of
City Club of Tacoma. City Club proudly published its report for
2002, Youth at Risk - Improving the Odds, on March 6th of
that year.
A culmination of over one year's effort on the part of a 12-member
team, this report "raises social, economic, and fiscal issues to
be addressed in seeking solutions to the many problems posed by
troubled youth in our midst." This report has been
successfully used as supporting documentation in grant applications for
funding to initiate the new Pierce County Youth Resource Assessment
Center. This is something each City Club member can be very proud
of.
