Mayor Woodards to Present the 2020 State of the City Address
on March 4th *via Live Stream*
Mayor Victoria Woodards will present Tacoma's 2020 State of the City Address on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at 6:30 PM. During the speech, Mayor Woodards will speak on the theme “Our Future in Focus”.
Out of an abundance of caution, as well as concerns expressed by the community, the 2020 State of the City Address is moving to an alternate format.
“Although there are currently no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Pierce County, the health and safety of our community is our top priority,” said Tacoma Mayor Victoria Woodards. “That’s why I’ve decided to embrace a virtual format this year for the State of the City that is consistent with one of the suggested preventative measures being used by City administration. I hope you’ll join me when it airs at 6:30 PM on TV Tacoma or on social media.”
