April 20, 2011 -- LUNCH: Centennial of Union Station with Norm Dicks
Rep. Norm Dicks, Judge Robert Bryan, and architect Jim Merritt will explain how Union Station was saved and the process of it becoming part of the Federal Court complex.
May 1st marks the 100th year anniversary of Union Station. Tacoma will formally celebrate on that day. We can all learn, straight from the people who worked together, how Union Station was saved from the wrecking ball to become an icon of downtown Tacoma.
Lunch: Doors open at 11:30 am, lunch starts at 12:00, and the progam ends by 1:15.
